planning the digipack

The above adress is the website where i found the graffiti images of women. The reason i want a women that has been done in graffiti and not the original artist is because the cd itself is all about female empowerment and all women. To have another women on the front cover in grafti style like our video allows this message to be conveyed to our audience that all women can feel and be powerful whilst also being trendy and edgy. 

I found websites that have looked at artists who have had digipacks without the artist on them. An example is http://jackjohnsonmusic.com/music. Jack johnston is an aritist whose digipacks stick out and go well with my ideas for my digipack because the majority of his digipacks dont have pictures of the artist in the front. Jack Johnstone kerrps it the same all the time. An artist who likes to use the smae font often is Rihanna.

The reason Rihanna like most artists used the same font and similar design on where the writing is placed is to allow her fans to feel some sort of familiarity with her and all of the music she releases.

Rihanna has got the power to change her image as much as she pleases but keeping the simple things the same like the font and the placement make a huge difference to the audience and the popularity of the artist.
