Katy Perry - Teenage Dream

The artwork for Katy Perry's album Teenage Dream is a good representation of her as an artist. It uses lots of pinks and light, feminine colours and establishes straight away what type of artist she is (pop). The font colour used matches the colours in the photograph and, additionally, the colours on the actual print of CD. It uses reds and blues; primary colours that probably attract a younger audience.

Even though the album is called Teenage Dream after her lead single, the artwork follows the 'candyfloss' style that is used in the musical videos for one of her other singles, California Girls
