Kanye West - Graduation

Kanye West is one of the rare artists that has released a digipak for every album he has released. His first few albums all have the same recurring theme of the bear (that symbolises Kanye) and the overly stylized pop animation. The first few albums are all based around the theme of education; The College Dropout, Late Registration and this one, Graduation and the theme reflects this; simplistic, bright animation with bright colours give the album a child-like feeling.

The artwork on this digipak is somewhat linked with the music video for one of Kanye's singles, The Good Life. The video has the same style as the artwork for the digipak, with West & T-Pain performing in front of an animated backdrop.

Although the other music videos are dramatically different, from the pop-art, animated style of these, there are continuous links throughout. For example, in the video for the song Stronger, Kanye is shown with his trademark stripy glasses. In the album art for the single, the same bear is wearing them.
