mock up

My idea for my digipack is to have my front cover without an artist I believe that this gives the digipack an edge and gets the audience more excited. If they dont know what the artist looks like but like the sound of the track list they will go deeper into the artists music to find who they are so they can match voice to face all of this will help the popularity of the artist. My aritists name is 'Robyn J' with my group we will have the same font size and type and the same tracklist but all of the other work is completely individual and i want to challenge myself with something that is'nt the norm. Everyone expects the digipack cover to have the artist plastered on the cover, i want mine to stand out and be different.

The above images are all inspiration for my digipack because they all have interesting images that will catch the artists eye and make you curious as to what the artist will sound like. The reason I believe that not having the artist on the cover is more interesting is because you cant stereotype them because their is no picture its the old saying dont judge a book by its cover. If you seen a man with a guitar and hay in the picture you would assume country and then not pick it up but if you just read a track list and the songs didn't reveal much then you might find yourself purchasing music out of your normal genre and could shock yourself.

First draft of my mock up. The reason that i have to redo my mock up is because I was confused on what side the front cover was on, also I selected a nicer graffti picture for the cover.
