In terms of promotion, I think Misha B does this by having a central attraction to the new/latest video which also indicates that it is available on iTunes allowing fans to watch it and click the link to download.
It also promotes her by showing her tour dates so that there's still that buzz of her going around, using bold type font 'buy tickets' alerting fans or anyone else interested in her music.
Her image of being an urban act is shown through the layout of the page. The font, colour, background emphasises the block behind her and her style.
She is also letting people who visit her page and do not have twitter keep up to date with her tweets! Engaging new fans with her day to day life.
