Green Screen Filming

Today we were filming some shots in the green screen. After getting feedback from our teacher, we decided that we needed more of a variation of different types of shots and angles because most of our music video so far is made up on long and midshots. We also knew that we wanted to incorperate more shots with the camera moving to keep with the uptempo pace of the song. To do this, we experimented by moving the camera both by hand and turning it on the tripod.

The good thing about filming by hand was that it gave us lots of freedom to move the camera how and where we wanted. The downside was that sometimes the footage came out very shaky. Similiarly, although using the tripod kept our shots straight and in frame, it restricted us from being able to pan how we wanted to.
